Bailey is 19 months old today!

Hard to believe, but Bailey is 19 months old

today! I took these pictures this afternoon

and couldn't decide which one I liked better

so I'm posting BOTH! She is talking and

talking and even beginning to say her ABC's!

And look at those dimples! She is SO funny

and we are so blessed to have her!

Kirk and I had a great time in St. Maarten! Many thanks to Nana (or as Bailey now says "Nina"), Papaw, Hemi, Tom, and Sara for taking such great care of the girls. Papaw and Nana bought Bailey a pair of Dora crocs! She LOVES them! She likes to point to them and say "new shoes" and "Dora shoes". Here is Bailey and her new shoes!!

We Love Daddy!

Caroline and Bailey LOVE their daddy... and daddy LOVES his girls! They have him wrapped around their little fingers! They play and laugh all the time! Kirk is a great daddy! This picture was taken a couple of weeks ago.. reading before bed is enjoyed by all!

So, the "sisters blog" is up and running. This is an old picture but one of my favorites! I hope to update and put new pictures on the blog often.. but be patient with me.. these girls keep me REALLY busy! My parents are coming tomorrow! The girls are so excited to see Nana and Papaw. Kirk and I leave on Thursday for our annual anniversary trip to St. Maarten. We will be gone 13 (yes 13) days. It's going to be tough being away from our girls for that long.. but they will be in good hands! Thanks for checking out our blog.. See you soon!

Bailey Estlin Tanis

Here is little sister Bailey! She is 18 months old!! She is such a happy girl. She enjoys everything, especially her big sister Caroline. She loves to try and copy what Caroline does.. so much so that she's learned to count to 10 and knows some of her colors! She also is talking really well.. way better than Caroline at this age.. probably because Caroline talks so much!! Bailey has finished 2 sessions of Kindermusic.. she had so much fun doing that. Unfortunately the teacher stopped teaching so we are looking for something new! Bailey gets so many comments on her red hair! She's so happy-go-lucky and is just so much fun to be around!!!

Caroline Conley Tanis

Here is big sister Caroline. She is 3 years old and ALL GIRL! She loves Pink (hence the pink on the blog). She just started back to school. She's in the 3 year preschool class at First Scots and LOVES IT! She goes M/W/F. The big "excitement" so far has been taking something for show and tell! She takes gymnastics and is having fun with that and also is continuing with swim lessons. She's a busy girl! She's also a good big sister to Bailey. They love to play together, and especially tickle and laugh! Caroline can be really shy at times but it doesn't take too long for her to come out of her shell. Once that happens.. WATCH OUT!

"better late than never"

Well, I am trying to create a blog of Caroline and Bailey to share with our family and friends! I'm really not sure how to do this! I have a good friend Stephanie who has this great blog of her cutie son Myers. She has done a great job of documenting him and his achievements since he was born! I wish I had know about this when Caroline was born.. oh well.. like I said.. better late than never.. So here we go!
